The Solar Luxury Dream mattress has a firm, supportive feel and is upholstered in a hard wearing damask cover that features a hand tufted finish for extra durability. Hand tufting pre-tensions the mattress by passing a series of tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with a cotton tuft. The mattress has a sturdy open coil interior, a system made up of hourglass shaped springs connected into one single unit by a spiral wire, also known as a helical wire. To further strengthen the unit, a thick rod edge wire is attached to the perimeter of the spring interior. This wire prevents border breakdown and allows you the full use of the mattress width.
